VVV-Venlo is a Dutch football club from Venlo in Limburg, founded on 7 February 1903. It plays at Stadion De Koel, a ground of about 8,000 places, and competes in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football. The club has had several spells in the Eredivisie and won the second division three times. It plays in yellow and black and is nicknamed De Trots van het Zuiden. Venlo lies on the German border, and the club draws support from both sides of it.
