Borussia Mönchengladbach is a German football club from Mönchengladbach in North Rhine-Westphalia, founded on 1 August 1900. It plays at the Borussia-Park, a ground of 54,057 places, and competes in the Bundesliga. The club won five German championships in the 1970s with a young side that became known as Die Fohlen, the Foals, and took the UEFA Cup twice. It plays in black, white and green. Its duels with Bayern in that decade defined an era in German football.
