Ipswich Town Football Club is an English club from Ipswich in Suffolk, founded in 1878 and professional since 1936. It plays at Portman Road, a ground of about 30,000 places, and competes in the top tier after promotion from the Championship. Under Alf Ramsey the club won the league in 1962, and under Bobby Robson it won the FA Cup in 1978 and the UEFA Cup in 1981. It plays in blue and white and is nicknamed the Tractor Boys. Both managers went on to manage England.
