AC Sparta Praha, in full Athletic Club Sparta Praha, is a Czech football club from Prague, founded on 16 November 1893. It plays at the epet ARENA in the Letná district, a ground of 18,349 places, and competes in the Czech First League. Sparta is the most successful club in the country, with more than thirty domestic championships across the Czechoslovak and Czech eras, and won the Mitropa Cup three times in the interwar years. It plays in dark red and is nicknamed Železná Sparta, Iron Sparta, and Letenští after its home district.
