SK Brann is a Norwegian football club from Bergen, founded on 26 September 1908. It plays at Brann Stadion, a ground of about 17,000 places, and competes in the Eliteserien. The club has won three Norwegian championships and the Norwegian Cup twice, and it draws the largest crowds outside the capital. It plays in red and is nicknamed Bergens Stolthet, the pride of Bergen. Brann means fire, and its supporters have kept the club filling its ground through spells in the second division.
