Eintracht Frankfurt is a German football club from Frankfurt in Hesse, founded on 8 March 1899. It plays at the Deutsche Bank Park, a ground of about 59,500 places, and competes in the Bundesliga. The club won the German championship in 1959, the DFB-Pokal five times, and the UEFA Cup in 1980 and the Europa League in 2022, when tens of thousands of its supporters travelled to the final in Seville. It plays in red, black and white and is nicknamed the Adler, the Eagles.
