Esbjerg fB is a Danish football club from Esbjerg on the west coast of Jutland, founded on 23 July 1924 out of a merger of two local clubs. It plays at the Blue Water Arena, a ground of about 17,400 places, and competes in the 1st Division, the second tier of Danish football. The club won five Danish championships, all between 1961 and 1979, and the Danish Cup three times. It plays in blue and white. Esbjerg is Denmark's main North Sea port, and the club has always been the city's flagship team.
