LOSC Lille, in full Lille Olympique Sporting Club, is a French football club from Lille in the north, formed in 1944 out of a merger of two older clubs. It plays at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, a ground of about 50,000 places with a retractable roof, and competes in Ligue 1. Lille have won four French championships, the last in 2021, and the Coupe de France six times. It plays in red and white and is nicknamed Les Dogues, the Mastiffs. Its academy produced Eden Hazard among many others.
