Pilot Flying J is the trading name of Pilot Travel Centers LLC, a North American chain of truck stops in the United States and Canada. The business began as Pilot Truck Stops, became Pilot Travel Centers in November 1993 and took the Pilot Flying J name in July 2010. Its sites combine fuel for cars and lorries with convenience stores, restaurants and facilities for long distance drivers. The company is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is owned by Berkshire Hathaway.
