CE Sabadell is a Spanish football club from Sabadell near Barcelona, founded on 11 December 1903 and one of the oldest in the country. It plays at the Nova Creu Alta, a ground of about 11,900 places, and competes in the Spanish second tier. The club spent fourteen seasons in La Liga, the last of them in 1988, and reached the Copa del Rey final in 1935. It plays in blue and white and is nicknamed Arlequinats. Sabadell was a textile town, and the club is one of Catalonia's historic sides.
