Cardiff City Football Club is a Welsh club from Cardiff that plays in the English league system, founded in 1899 as Riverside AFC and renamed in 1908. It plays at the Cardiff City Stadium, a ground of 33,316 places, and competes in the EFL Championship after promotion. The club is the only side from outside England to win the FA Cup, beating Arsenal in 1927, and reached the Premier League twice. It plays in blue and is nicknamed the Bluebirds. Its rivalry with Swansea City is the South Wales derby.
