SG Dynamo Dresden is a German football club from Dresden in Saxony, founded on 12 April 1953 as a club of the East German police. It plays at the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion, a ground of 32,085 places, and competes in the German league. Dynamo won eight East German championships and seven cups, and it draws crowds far above its division. It plays in yellow and black. Its support is among the largest and most intense in the German lower divisions.
