Hobro IK is a Danish football club from Hobro in northern Jutland, founded on 13 June 1913. It plays at the DS Arena, a ground of about 7,500 places, and competes in the 1st Division, the second tier of Danish football. The club reached the Superliga for the first time in 2014, from a town of twelve thousand, and returned twice more. It plays in yellow and black. Its budget has always been among the smallest in Danish professional football.
