Holstein Kiel is a German football club from Kiel in Schleswig-Holstein, founded on 7 October 1900. It plays at the Holstein-Stadion, a ground of 15,034 places, and competes in the German league. The club won the German championship in 1912 and waited until 2024 to reach the Bundesliga, the first side from the state to do so. It plays in blue, white and red and is nicknamed Die Störche, the Storks.
