Leeds United Football Club is an English club from Leeds in West Yorkshire, founded in 1919. It plays at Elland Road, a ground of 37,645 places, and competes in the Premier League. Leeds won the league three times under Don Revie and Howard Wilkinson, the FA Cup in 1972 and two Fairs Cups, and reached the Champions League semi-finals in 2001. It plays in white and is nicknamed the Whites or the Peacocks.
