Minnesota United FC is an American soccer club from the Minneapolis and Saint Paul area, founded in 2010 and playing in Major League Soccer since 2017. It plays at Allianz Field, a ground of 19,400 places, and competes in the Western Conference. It plays in grey, black and blue and is nicknamed the Loons, after the state bird. Its ground in Saint Paul is among the best regarded of the recent purpose-built stadiums in the league.
