Portimonense SC is a Portuguese sports club from Portimão in the Algarve, founded on 14 August 1914. Its football team plays at the Estádio Municipal, a ground of 4,961 places, and competes in Liga Portugal 2. The club has moved between the top two divisions for decades. It plays in black and white. It has long had a strong link with Japanese football, with several Japanese players passing through the squad.
