Cerezo Osaka is a Japanese football club from Osaka, founded in 1957 as the works team of Yanmar Diesel and professional under its present name since 1993. It plays at Yodoko Sakura Stadium, a ground of about 24,500 places, and competes in the J1 League. The club won the J.League Cup and the Emperor's Cup in 2017. It plays in pink. Cerezo is Spanish for cherry blossom, the flower of the city, and the club's academy produced Shinji Kagawa and Hiroshi Kiyotake.
