FK Třinec is a Czech football club from Třinec in Moravian Silesia, close to the Polish border, founded in 1921. It plays at the Stadion Rudolfa Labaje, a ground of 2,200 places, and competes in the Czech National Football League, the second tier. The club is backed by the Třinec iron and steel works, which it was long named after, and played in the Czechoslovak First League in the 1930s. It plays in green and white. Ice hockey is the town's dominant sport, which keeps the football club modest by design.
