1. FC Nürnberg is a German football club from Nuremberg in Bavaria, founded on 4 May 1900. It plays at the Max-Morlock-Stadion, a ground of about 50,000 places, and competes in the German league. Nürnberg won nine German championships, most of them in the 1920s when it was the dominant side in the country, and four DFB-Pokals. It plays in red and black and is known simply as Der Club. It also holds the record for most relegations from the Bundesliga.
