Greenock Morton FC is a Scottish football club from Greenock in Inverclyde, founded in 1874 as Morton FC and one of the oldest clubs in the country. It plays at Cappielow Park, a ground of about 11,500 places on the Clyde, and competes in the Scottish league. The club won the Scottish Cup in 1922 and reached the final twice more. It plays in blue and white hoops and is known as the Ton. Greenock was a shipbuilding town, and the club has followed its fortunes.
