KAA Gent is a Belgian football club from Ghent, whose parent society was founded in 1864 as a gymnastics association and whose football section dates from 1900. It plays at the Planet Group Arena, a ground of 20,175 places, and competes in the Belgian Pro League. The club won the Belgian championship in 2015 and the cup four times, and reached the Champions League round of sixteen. It plays in blue and white and is nicknamed De Buffalo's.
