The LA Galaxy are an American soccer club from the Los Angeles area, founded on 15 June 1994 as a charter club of Major League Soccer. They play at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, a ground of about 27,000 places, and compete in the Western Conference. The Galaxy have won MLS Cup a record six times. They play in white, navy and gold. The signing of David Beckham in 2007 changed how the league was seen abroad.
