Rosenborg BK is a Norwegian football club from Trondheim, founded on 19 May 1917. It plays at the Lerkendal Stadion, a ground of 21,426 places, and competes in the Eliteserien. With 26 league titles, including thirteen in a row from 1992, Rosenborg is by far the most successful club in Norway, and it reached the Champions League quarter-finals in 1997. It plays in white and black and is known as RBK. Its dominance in the 1990s under Nils Arne Eggen defined an era in Norwegian football.
