CD Tondela is a Portuguese football club from Tondela in the Viseu district, founded on 6 June 1933. It plays at the Estádio João Cardoso, a ground of about 5,000 places, and competes in Liga Portugal 2 after relegation in 2026. The club first reached the Primeira Liga in 2015 and reached the Taça de Portugal final in 2021. It plays in green and yellow and is nicknamed Os Beirões. Tondela has around three thousand inhabitants in the town itself, among the smallest in Portuguese top-flight history.
