NK Aluminij is a Slovenian football club from Kidričevo in the north east of the country, founded in 1946 and named after the aluminium works that the town grew around. It plays at the Aluminij Sports Park, a small ground of about 1,200 places, and competes in the PrvaLiga, the Slovenian top division. The club reached the top flight for the first time in 2015 and its best result is a Slovenian Cup final in 2019. It plays in red and white and is nicknamed Šumari, the Foresters. It is one of the smallest towns represented in Slovenian professional football.
