Dunfermline Athletic Football Club is a Scottish club from Dunfermline in Fife, founded on 2 June 1885. It plays at East End Park and competes in the Scottish Championship. The club's best years came in the 1960s under Jock Stein, when it won the Scottish Cup in 1961 and again in 1968 and reached the Cup Winners' Cup semi-finals. It plays in black and white stripes and is nicknamed the Pars. Its ground has hosted top-flight football on and off for more than a century.
