IFK Mariehamn is a Finnish football club from Mariehamn, the capital of the autonomous Åland Islands, founded in 1919. It plays at the Wiklöf Holding Arena, a ground of about 1,650 places, and competes in the Finnish league. The club won the Finnish championship in 2016, the only title ever taken by a side from the islands. It plays in green and white and is nicknamed Saarelaiset, the Islanders. Åland is Swedish-speaking, and so is the club.
