Lierse is a Belgian football club from Lier in the province of Antwerp. The original K. Lierse SK, founded in 1906, won four Belgian championships and two cups before it was declared bankrupt in 2018; the name and the ground passed to a successor club that plays at the Herman Vanderpoortenstadion, a ground of 14,538 places, in the Belgian second tier. It plays in yellow and black. Its 1997 title came from a side almost entirely made up of Belgians.
