CS Marítimo is a Portuguese club from Funchal on Madeira, founded on 20 September 1910. It plays at the Estádio dos Barreiros, a ground of about 10,600 places above the harbour, and competes in the Portuguese league. The club spent more than two decades continuously in the Primeira Liga until 2023 and has qualified for European competition several times. It plays in green and red and is nicknamed Os Verde-Rubros. Its name and its crest refer to the seafarers of the island.
