Calcio Padova is an Italian football club from Padua in the Veneto, founded on 29 January 1910. It plays at the Stadio Euganeo, a ground of about 32,400 places, and competes in Serie B. The club spent sixteen seasons in Serie A, the last of them in 1995, and finished third in the league in 1958 with a side built around Nereo Rocco's defensive tactics. It plays in white and is nicknamed I Biancoscudati, after the white shield in the city's arms.
