Stade Rennais FC is a French football club from Rennes in Brittany, founded on 10 March 1901. It plays at Roazhon Park, a ground of 29,778 places, and competes in Ligue 1. The club won the Coupe de France in 1965, 1971 and 2019, when it beat Paris Saint-Germain on penalties, and has become a regular in European competition. It plays in red and black and is nicknamed Les Rouge et Noir. It is backed by the Pinault family, whose holding company is based in the city.
