Vancouver Whitecaps FC is a Canadian football club from Vancouver, British Columbia, playing in Major League Soccer since 2011. The name goes back to the original Whitecaps of 1974, and the current club was awarded its franchise in 2009. Home matches are at BC Place, a covered stadium that seats around 22,000 for football. The club has won the Canadian Championship three times and reached the CONCACAF Champions Cup final in 2025. It plays in blue and white and is known as the Caps. Alongside the first team it runs an academy and a reserve side in MLS Next Pro.
