About Farul Constanța

Farul Constanța is a Romanian football club from the Black Sea port of Constanța, playing under its present ownership since Gheorghe Hagi's academy side merged with the city's historic club in 2021. It plays at the Stadionul Central of the academy in Ovidiu, a ground of 4,554 places, and competes in Liga I. The club won the Romanian championship in 2023. Its name means the Lighthouse, after the landmark on the old harbour. It plays in blue and white, and its squad is drawn largely from its own academy.
