Palermo FC is an Italian football club from Palermo in Sicily, founded on 1 November 1900 as the Anglo-Palermitan Athletic and Football Club. It plays at the Stadio Renzo Barbera, a ground of 36,365 places, and competes in Serie B. The club spent long spells in Serie A in the 2000s, reaching the UEFA Cup, before bankruptcy sent it to the amateur divisions in 2019. It plays in pink and black and is nicknamed I Rosanero. It has been owned by City Football Group since 2022.
