Clermont Foot 63 is a French football club from Clermont-Ferrand in the Auvergne, created in 1990 out of a merger, with roots in a club formed in 1911. It plays at the Stade Gabriel-Montpied, a ground of 11,980 places, and competes in Ligue 2. The club reached Ligue 1 for the first time in 2021, the first top-flight football the city had seen, and stayed three seasons. It plays in red and blue. Clermont-Ferrand is better known for rugby, which makes the club's rise unusual for the region.
