FC St. Pauli, formally Fußball-Club St. Pauli von 1910 e.V., is a German football club from the St. Pauli quarter of Hamburg, founded on 15 May 1910. It plays at the Millerntor-Stadion, a ground of about 29,500 places near the Reeperbahn. The club has moved between the Bundesliga and the second tier for most of its history and is followed well beyond Hamburg for its supporter culture, its skull and crossbones emblem and its long-standing stance against discrimination. It is nicknamed the Kiezkicker. Besides football the club runs departments for rugby, bowling, chess and other sports.
