PEC Zwolle is a Dutch football club from Zwolle in Overijssel, founded on 12 June 1910. It plays at the MAC³PARK Stadion, a ground of about 14,000 places, and competes in the Eredivisie. The club won the KNVB Cup in 2014, beating Ajax 5-1 in the final, and the Johan Cruyff Shield later that year. It plays in blue and white. Its name stands for Prins Hendrik Ende Desespereert Nimmer Combinatie, which carries the motto never despair.
