Real Valladolid is a Spanish football club from Valladolid in Castile and León, founded in 1928. It plays at the Estadio José Zorrilla, a ground of 27,846 places, and competes in the Spanish league. The club has spent more than forty seasons in La Liga and reached the Copa del Rey final in 1950 and 1989. It plays in white and violet and is nicknamed Pucelanos, after Pucela, the old nickname for the city.
