Silkeborg IF is a Danish football club from Silkeborg in central Jutland, founded in 1917. It plays at JYSK Park, a ground of about 10,000 places, and competes in the Superliga. The club won the Danish championship in 1994, a few years after first reaching the top flight, and the Danish Cup in 2001. It plays in blue and white. Silkeborg sits in the Danish lake district, and the club has built a reputation for attacking football on a small budget.
