Stal Rzeszów is a Polish football club from Rzeszów in the south east, founded in 1944 as the works team of a local aviation factory. It plays at the Stadion Miejski, a ground of 12,000 places, and competes in the I liga, the second tier. The club reached the Polish Cup final in 1975. It plays in blue and white. Rzeszów is the capital of the Podkarpackie region and the centre of Poland's aviation industry.
