Aberdeen Football Club is a Scottish club from Aberdeen in the north east, founded in 1903. It plays at Pittodrie Stadium, a ground of 19,274 places on the North Sea coast, and has never been relegated from the top division since joining it in 1905. The club has won four Scottish league titles, eight Scottish Cups and six League Cups, and is the only Scottish side besides Rangers to win a European trophy: the Cup Winners' Cup and the European Super Cup, both in 1983 under Alex Ferguson. It plays in red and is nicknamed the Dons.
