SKU Amstetten is an Austrian football club from Amstetten in Lower Austria, formed in 1997 when ASK Amstetten and SC Union Amstetten merged. It plays in the 2. Liga, the country's second tier, and has been there since promotion in 2018, which makes it one of the smallest towns represented in Austrian professional football. Home matches are at the Ertl Glas Stadion on the Union-Platz ground at the edge of town, with room for around 3,000. The club carries the motto "Wir fürs Mostviertel" and draws its support from the surrounding Mostviertel region. Alongside the first team it runs a women's side and a youth academy.
