FC Arouca, in full Futebol Clube de Arouca, is a Portuguese football club from Arouca in the Porto metropolitan area, founded on 25 December 1951. It plays at the Estádio Municipal de Arouca, a ground of 5,600 places, and competes in the Primeira Liga. The club first reached the top flight in 2013 and played in the Europa League in 2016, a remarkable run for a town of fewer than five thousand inhabitants. After a spell in the lower divisions it returned to the Primeira Liga in 2021. It plays in yellow and is nicknamed Os Lobos, the Wolves.
