Arsenal Football Club is an English club from Islington in north London, founded in 1886 as Dial Square by workers at the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich. It plays at the Emirates Stadium, a ground of 60,704 places, and competes in the Premier League. Arsenal have won 14 league titles, including the unbeaten season of 2003/04, a record 14 FA Cups and the Cup Winners' Cup in 1994. The club plays in red and white and is nicknamed the Gunners. It has been in the top flight without interruption since 1919, longer than any other English club.
