FK Austria Wien is an Austrian football club from Vienna, founded on 15 March 1911. It plays at the Generali Arena in the Favoriten district, a ground of 17,565 places, and competes in the Austrian Bundesliga. Austria Wien has won 24 league titles and a record 27 Austrian Cups, more than any other club in the country, and reached the Cup Winners' Cup final in 1978. It plays in violet and white and is nicknamed Die Veilchen, the Violets. Its rivalry with Rapid Wien is the Vienna derby, the oldest in continental Europe.
