US Boulogne, in full Union Sportive Boulogne Côte d'Opale, is a French football club from Boulogne-sur-Mer on the Channel coast, founded in 1898. It plays at the Stade de la Libération, a ground of about 9,500 places, and competes in Ligue 2 after promotion from the Championnat National. The club spent a single season in Ligue 1, in 2009/10, its only appearance in the top flight. It plays in red and black and is known as USBCO. Its ground sits close enough to the port that the club has always drawn on the fishing community for support.
