Burgos CF is a Spanish football club from Burgos in Castile and León. The present club was founded in 1985, after the original Burgos CF of 1936 was wound up in 1983 following relegation from La Liga. It plays at El Plantío, a ground of about 12,200 places, and competes in the Segunda División, the second tier of Spanish football, which it reached in 2021. It plays in white and black and is nicknamed Los Blanquinegros. The club's history is a long alternation between the second and third divisions.
