US Catanzaro 1929 is an Italian football club from Catanzaro in Calabria, founded in 1929. It plays at the Stadio Nicola Ceravolo, a ground of 14,650 places, and competes in Serie B, the second tier of Italian football. The club spent seven seasons in Serie A between 1971 and 1983 and reached the Coppa Italia final in 1966. It plays in yellow and red and is nicknamed the Aquile del Sud, the Southern Eagles. Its return to Serie B in 2023 came after two decades in the lower divisions.
