Over COOP Jednota

Deze omschrijving staat in het Engels.

COOP Jednota Slovensko is a Slovak consumer co-operative whose members are 30 regional consumer co-operatives, each carrying COOP Jednota in its name, that together run a shared network of shops. It was founded in 1845, which makes it one of the oldest retail organisations in Slovakia. As of December 2025 the network counted 1,937 supermarkets and grocery shops in the country. Because its members are co-operatives, the business is owned by its members rather than by outside shareholders.
